Are you local? On first inspection you think this pub should be in the middle of nowhere. It is in fact situated on a little back street in the centre of Manchester. If you are the sort of person who loves the traditional ‘local’ country pub then maybe this is for you.The drinks aren’t particularly cheap although they are average for the city centre. Like a lot of places the selection of drinks isn’t brilliant but I will make a point that they do serve a very nice pint. The clientèle typically consists of office workers who want a pint after work and this is especially apparent on a Friday when lots more office workers go in there to get totally steaming after work.

The atmosphere is great on a Friday night, the bar staff are friendly and don’t bother you when you play drinking games and fall over. I like this pub but I’m going to have to give it 3 / 5 because the prices aren’t very student friendly.
